This is a great product. If I could say one thing not-so-positive about this product would be the instructions. After you have set the coffee maker to be brewed at a certain time of the day and you press the Program button again to turn it on without coffee or water in the coffee maker, it will keep beeping at you forever. I must be the only silly person to have experienced it, but for people considering about buying, here's a tip. But again, the product itself is wonderful. Needless to say, it makes great coffee.

The coffee maker works fine with the exception of the 747 aircraft engine in the grinder. It is unbelievably loud!!! Truly a wakeup call and very disappointing because it is deafening. Our bedroom is upstairs from the kitchen and it's like a machine gun going off when it comes on. The military may be interested in this coffee maker for training purposes.
Also, the coffee pot holds 12 cups but the grinder doesn't hold enough coffee beans for a full 12 cup pot of coffee unless you like weak coffee.

This product was recommended with reservations in the Sept./Oct issue of Cook's Illustrated because the grinder was loud and the water temperature wasn't hot enough long enough. In the Nov/Dec issue, they recommended that one heat the water to 100º before brewing.....that kinda negates the usefulness of the grinder and programming features. Yes, the grinder is loud but the it's programmed to start when I

We love our new Cuisinart Coffee Maker. Friends vacationed with us this winter and brought their Cuisinart with them. We couldn't drink our coffee when we returned home...we had to have this coffee maker. I wouldn't be writing this if it wasn't. We definitely recommend this item. Great Deal Best Coffee I have ever had from a home coffee maker.

The coffeemaker is nice and compact for small counters. Simple to use and you get a great cup of fresh coffee. Grinds beans finely and quickly. Easy clean-up too.

I bought this to replace our older, bulky coffee maker plus a coffee grinder. The design is slick and modern. We love the look in the kitchen. Makes perfect coffee. We love the fact that it's an all-in-one option. The only real downside is that you have to completely clean the the coffee grinder portion of the unit. Because moisture from the brewing coffee gets into the grinder, there are coffee grounds that are stuck in the container. The grinder itself is a little loud. My husband and I think it sounds like an airplane taking off, but fortunately, it only lasts about 20 seconds. It would also be a benefit if the clock was a little bigger or brighter.

I read all the reviews I could find on this reasonably-priced all-in-one grind fresh beans and make a great cup of coffee rig. For the price it is well worth it. However, cleaning it is a bear! It's not enough to rinse and dry all the various parts (6) each time you use it. There are nicks and crannies you need to work at; especially under the grinder blades. I haven't come up with a suitable way to clean it efficiently!

We replaced our old Cuisinart after a six year run. I thought it would be great to be able to grind beans for that fresh brewed flavor. However, I didn't realize you have to program the machine each and every time you make a pot of coffee. And while it comes apart easy enough, getting into the nooks and crannies to clean the grounds out is a little tedious. And you HAVE to clean it after each use.
The coffee itself is good, actually, very good. But truthfully, for all the hassles, I don't know that I would buy this product again.

I like the fact that this coffeemaker grinds beans, but don't like that it's not set for auto brew. When I forget to push the On/Off button, the grind feature kicks in (usually scaring me!). I will have to re-read the brochure again. Maybe I missed something. . It brews the coffee just fine, though.

Went back to old version to replace 10 year old. Ten years is old for coffee maker, so I got my money's worth back then. Bought the newer burr grinding updated version. It will not feed the beans and the coffee ends up weak. Fed up with burr 'no grind' I went back and bought the same as I had for the 10 years, and I'm back to being happy again. High tech burr grinder will go to charity shop!
